Qualifications

Born into a family of intuitives, Marnie's Irish grandmother read palms and her mother deciphered meanings from tea leaves. From her earliest memories, she recalls possessing the uncanny ability to see energy. When she was four, her grandmother taught her to read palms. Together, they discovered that she could touch a person and receive pictures of past as well as future events. When she was seven, she encountered her first Spirit, and when she hit adolescence, her empathic abilities began to develop. By the time she was in high school, she was reading palms on the school bus and telling her fellow school mates their strengths, weaknesses, fears, and dreams. She experienced her share of challenges, and for some years, she blocked her abilities. At that time she focused her energy on religion, raising her children, and maintaining a home. After her separation from a toxic relationship, she committed herself to healing, and decided to make use of her abilities while she was at it. At that time, she visited Ron Wayman, the facilitator of an emotional release process called Kalos. After two sessions with him, he told her that she released more in those two sessions than most people had after years of work. She shared her career goals and intentions to commit to healing work, and he hired her on the spot! Her training included a mastery of Kalos, Sensory Learning (which is light, sound and motion therapy), Muscle Response Testing (MRT), Educational Kinesiology, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Ron worked with her personally and he became an important mentor. She learned to read energy in the aura and the body, and to clear energy blocks. Around this same time, she began studying the Orion 12-Strand DNA Activation Technique. Because she wanted to find the most effective and efficient way to heal, she began experimenting with different modalities and learned to work deeper in the body to release non-beneficial energies, belief systems and patterns of behavior--that old knee-jerk response. Shortly after she ended her apprenticeship with Ron, she went out on her own, conducting workshops and lectures on topics such as Healing through Guided Meditation, DNA Activation, and Reading Energy through the Crown Chakra. Marnie's abilities have grown and developed exponentially as she's continued on her spiritual path. She's learned to honor the wisdom of the body. It holds our refusals to truly live, and it holds our fears, as well as the very deepest desires of our hearts. Her spiritual practice has transformed her life by giving her a greater self-love and self-acceptance. She truly believes that our only job in life is to be happy and to love ourselves, no matter what!

Experience

Although she's been a sensitive and intuitive her whole life, she began her training and professional life in the late summer of 1997 with Ron Wayman. She left Ron's employ about a year later to embark on her own practice. Since then, she's seen clients on an individual basis, but has also provided phone readings and long-distance meditative work. In 2000, she became a Reiki Master, and was encouraged by her Reiki Master/Teacher to to use the energies in such a way that augmented the abilities she already possessed. Under her influence, she began to develop the style of healing that she uses today. She has since studied the Melchizedek Method, adding one more tool into her ever-growing tool box. For the last few years, she's been under the tutelage of a spiritual coach/guide, Marielle Taylor, which has been a deeply profound experience for her. She's conducted workshops and lectures on various healing modalities, as well as holistic and raw food nutrition and holistic personal care.

Personal

Marnie is an Aquarius, born on the cusp of Capricorn with Leo rising and four planets in Virgo, including her moon! As she's gotten older, she's noticed she's become more and more quirky and uniquely herself. She's proud to say she knows who she is, and unabashedly confesses that she loves herself! She's a voracious reader, and can frequently be found devouring several books at once. Her love for music is a huge part of her life. She enjoys several creative pursuits that include: playing the guitar, singing, making jewelry, T-shirt surgery, cooking, creative writing, and essential oil blending. She lives in California with her three children and Calico cat, who all have a lot of fun together. She loves raw chocolate, but keeps fit with a regular yoga and Pilates practice.
